A woman had to be treated by paramedics after a road crash today.
Emergency services were called to the A926, just off the A90 near Forfar following the two-vehicle smash.
The incident happened on the flyover connecting the Angus town with Kirriemuir at about 11.20am.
The casualty is not believed to have been seriously hurt and was treated at the roadside.
An OAP was issued with a fine following the incident.
A section of the road was closed off while the vehicles, a white Nissan Qashqai and a Silver Volvo S60, were recovered.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “We received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A926.
“The ambulance service attended and treated a woman for minor injuries.
“An 83-year-old man has been charged and issued with a conditional offer of fixed penalty notice.”
