Two people had to be freed from a car after it collided with a lamppost in Tayside.
Emergency services were called to Kellas Road at Wellbank at about 2.20pm following the one-vehicle smash.
A man and a woman had to be removed from the vehicle by firefighters after it came to rest on its side.
Both were concious and breathing at the scene, though the extent of their injuries is not known.
The road is currently closed while the incident is being investigated.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters attended a one vehicle road traffic collision on Kellas Road at Wellbank.
“We attended at the request of the ambulance service at 2.23pm.
“A male and a female were removed from the vehicle.
“A crew from the Balmossie and Kingsway Stations were dispatched to the scene.”
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “The road has been closed while investigations are being carried out.
“Diversions are in place.”
