Over the last week, the Tele has been investigating the issue of drug deaths across Tayside.
We discovered that 48 people were killed by these substances in the area last year alone, how a typical drug death victim is a 37-year-old man from Dundee, and how 35 children lost a parent to drug abuse in that period.
We have heard calls from one addict for better education, one campaigner telling us that drugs should be decriminalised, a family telling how more needs to be done to stop people “selling drugs to their neighbours”, and a local councillor unveiling his desire to see “safe centres” which would allow users to take illegal drugs in a safe environment.
Now, we want to know what you think is the best way forward in trying to reduce drug deaths in Tayside.
