Two pedestrians have been taken to Ninewells Hospital after being hit by a car on the A90 just north of Dundee.
The road collision happened just before 8.30am near Tealing.
The casualties, believed to be a woman and a child, are not thought to have suffered serious injuries.
The condition of the driver is not known.
Motorists travelling on the northbound carriageway faced delays while emergency services dealt with the incident.
The road has since re-opened and traffic is returning to normal.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “The incident was a collision involving a car and two pedestrians.
“The two pedestrians were both female. Their injuries are not believed to be serious.
“The carriageway is now open again and is clear.”
