A four-year-old girl raised £400 for the Little Princess Trust after having 13 inches of her hair cut off.
Young Ava Lindsay, of Carnoustie, was joined by her family and friends at Findlay’s Hair in her hometown yesterday.
The youngster was inspired to shed her locks after seeing a TV show which featured kids who had cancer.
Her mum Georgie McIntosh, 29, spoke of how proud she was at her daughter’s achievements.
She said: “She was fine with it. She was laughing about it and posing afterwards.”
The money raised during the haircut will go towards the Little Princess Trust.
