Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze at one of the lodges at Piperdam Resort this morning.
The alarm was raised at 7.30am and three crews from Macalpine Road rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival fire crews discovered the building was ‘well-alight’.
The lodge is believed to be one of the executive suites.
Over three hours later, two fire crews remain on the scene to dampen down the area.
No one was injured in the blaze.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received a call at 7.30 am after a fire at one of the executive lodges at Piperdam Resort.
“Firefighters found the lodge well-alight.
“Three appliances from Macalpine Road initially attended. Two remain on the scene to dampen down the area.”
“Two jets were used to extinguish the fire. No one was injured.”
