Firefighters have had to free a woman and two children after their car became trapped in flood water.
The alarm was raised in Bridgefoot, just north of Dundee, just after 9.30am.
Three appliances, two from Macalpine Road and one from the Kingsway, were called to the incident.
All of the ocupants of the car were safely removed.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We received a call about an incident at the junction of Rosemill Road in Bridgefoot at 9.32am.
“One vehicle had driven into the water that is about 3ft deep and it became stuck.
“We have two appliances from MacAlpine Road and two from the Kingsway at the incident.
“We have removed three people from the vehicle and moved the car out of the water.
“Everyone is safe.”
A spokeswoman Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland in attended Rosemill Road, Bridgefoot after reports that a woman and children were trapped in a car.”
